About
A designer applying craft to AI creative direction.
I’m Bryan Maxim. After more than 12 years designing digital experiences, I now apply the same principles—clarity, hierarchy, purpose, usability, and iteration—to AI-generated visuals.
For over a decade I designed products: interfaces, systems, and the small decisions that make software feel considered. AI image tools didn’t replace that work — they extended it. The output changed, but the job is the same: take a fuzzy idea and give it clear, intentional form.
Most people treat AI image generation like a slot machine. I treat it like design: define the outcome, direct the details, and refine with purpose. That shift — from guessing to directing — is what I share through this library.
Design philosophy
Clarity over noise
A strong image says one thing well. Direction is about removing everything that dilutes the message.
Hierarchy & intent
Every element should earn its place. The same discipline that shapes good interfaces shapes good visuals.
Iterate deliberately
Great results come from changing one variable at a time, not from starting over each generation.
